Small black hand painted dodo pin badge with brooch back. This quirky design featuring the extinct cousin of our pigeons might appeal to people with an interest in sustainability, ecology, geology or even Lewis Carroll! Because each one is individually painted, expect some unique touches - so there may be some natural variation from the photo.

It's about 5 cm wide and 3mm deep. I'm working hard to make my products environmentally freindly, so the wood is sustainably sourced and the box and mount card is recycled. It will be delivered in plastic-free packaging.

I design these, they're laser cut and I hand paint them with acrylic paints. They have a light coating of varnish to protect them and protect them from a bit of rain. They have not been designed to cope with a trip through the washing machine.

Badges are very robust items and should stand any amount of wear and tear. They do have sharp pins on the back, so they may not be suitable for young children.

The keyrings are made of ply and have been given a light varnish. They design has, however, been checked to ensure that any colouring stays put when exposed for a short period to water drops.

Pom poms have been tied very tightly with leather-strength thread as well as multiple lengths of yarn. This should ensure that they hold tight in normal use.

None of my badges, keyrings or charms are designed to be soaked, including washing.
